Somerset is set to get a new bingo hall with the Kingsway Bingo Club planned to open in Frome. The new bingo club is planned for the Kingsway Precint, in the premises of a former nightclub.
The backers of the new bingo club have already bought an 11 year lease of the premises. They have also applied for a license with the Mendip District Council, with local town council and police already saying that they have no objection to the new bingo club.
The new Kingway Bingo Club will be able to hold up to 300 people and it is expected that it will be open 6 nights and 3 afternoons a week. The new club will also create about 10 new jobs in Frome.
